Mark Vollbrecht joined Zeller Realty Group in 1996. As Principal, Mark is responsible for the performance of ZRG’s Southeastern market portfolio as well as the company’s engagement and reputation in the local market. He currently serves as the Atlanta Market Leader and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to his current role, Mark served as the Market Leader for Chicago and was responsible for opening ZRG’s Indianapolis office and the Southeast office in Atlanta. During his tenure, he has been directly involved with property and note acquisitions, capital (debt/equity) sourcing, property operations, leasing and dispositions. He has also acted as a Court Appointed Receiver while at ZRG.
Prior to joining ZRG, Mark was a Vice President and top producing broker with Miglin-Beitler, where his responsibilities included leasing Trophy Class new developments and Class A office towers in downtown Chicago. Previously, Mark was a Property Manager and Leasing Agent for a multi-property office building portfolio in Chicago’s CBD.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana, where he earned a BA in Economics with honors programs in Math and English. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Realtor Association. Mark is a Board Member of Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and serves on CAP’s Executive Committee. He is also on the Advisory Board of Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for the Arts. While in Indianapolis, he served on the Board of Directors for BOMA Indianapolis and Chairman of the Legislative Committee, as a Trustee for the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre and President of Carrington Woods HOA. In Chicago, Mark served as Chairman of the Associate Board of the Mid-Day Club, on JUF’s Annual Dinner Committee, was a member of CREO and the International Bankers of Chicago, and a Youth Sponsor for his church.
Mark is a frequent guest speaker on industry topics for organizations including ULI, ACBR, BOMA, NAIOP, ICBR, CCIM, BISNOW and Chicago Architecture Foundation.
