Krista Owens’ key responsibilities include benefits administration, compensation analysis, personnel recruitment and retention, human resources policies and procedures, corporate communications, employee and labor relations, training and development and wellness initiatives. Ms. Owens develops and drives human resource programs and initiatives and works with senior management in the development of solutions through cultural process and organizational development. Ms. Owens also participates in long-range human resource planning for Zeller Realty Group. In addition to her human resource responsibilities, Ms. Owens spearheads the reporting of debt and equity for each of our properties for the Asset Management Group.
Prior to joining Zeller Realty Group, Ms. Owens worked for Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP as an executive assistant. Ms. Owens was recruited by the attorney she worked with to accept a role at Zeller Realty Group, beginning a long and mutually beneficial relationship.
Ms. Owens graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Human Resources. She volunteers at Caring Hands Mission in Hammond, Indiana, The Faith Family Market through Faith Church and is the preschool group leader in Treasureland, a worship service for children on Sundays.
