Mr. Gattuso’s current responsibilities include developing capital and engineering strategies for acquisitions, developing best practices for the portfolio, creating policies and procedures for the engineering teams, technical advisor for management and leading technically-oriented projects.
Mr. Gattuso’s most recent assignment was Director of operations for JLL’s smart buildings service. He has also been responsible for the design and implement of programs, policies, training and service offerings that reflect best practices for engineering, operations and critical environments. He created and developed JLL’s Retrocommissioning Program and Energy Best Practices.
Prior to that, Mr. Gattuso was Director of Corporate Engineering with Equity Office Properties, where he served as technical advisor to senior leaders on innovative, revenue-generating investment strategies and cost containment initiatives for a 120MM SQFT Portfolio. With expertise in energy conservation & sustainability, Mr. Gattuso was responsible for monitoring Equity Office Properties’ national energy system, designing conservation and sustainability strategies and managing environmental issue resolution.
Mr. Gattuso graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He attended a 12-month leadership development program and is a certified facilitator in delivering customer service training modules. Mr Gattuso also participated in the creation of the LEED O&M examination, is a LEED AP Operations + Maintenance professional, Green Globes Certified and Department of Energy- Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP).
