Our properties have instituted high-performing green cleaning, are committed to purchasing Earth-friendly cleaning products, and have adopted sustainable maintenance procedures. We are working together with our tenants and Goby, our partner in sustainability, to share our knowledge of green building practices toward better stewardship of our natural resources and for healthier working environments.
Founded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED® is an internationally recognized mark of excellence for buildings that are transforming the industry toward sustainability. Since 2011, we have pursued LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations + Maintenance (EB:O+M) in almost five million square feet of our Class A office space - 71% of that (approx. 3.6 M feet) has achieved LEED Gold and 29% (approx. 1.4 M feet) earned LEED Silver. With many of our leasing and development professionals having accomplished their LEED AP and Green Associate credentials, Zeller Realty Group is also a proud member and sponsor of the USGBC.
In addition to a dedication and focus on lowering our carbon footprint, we are an ENERGY STAR Partner and have benchmarked all of our eligible buildings to help measure energy performance and reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout our portfolio.
