Assistant Vice President

As Senior Project Manager, Eric Taylor manages various capital improvement and tenant improvement projects for Zeller Realty Group’s Chicago office portfolio. He also works on acquisitions to confirm representations made by the seller of the property. Taylor joined the company in 2001 to streamline construction management techniques and efforts for the growing acquisition of properties and construction projects in the Chicago area.

Prior to joining ZRG, Taylor was a Senior Project Manager with The John Buck Company from 1993 to 2001 and with Sears Roebuck and Company’s Corporate Property Operations from 1984 to 1992. While at The John Buck Company, Taylor gained valuable project management and real estate experience through many diverse assignments. Originally hired by The John Buck Company to continue ongoing projects at Sears Tower originating with his position with Sears Roebuck, Taylor was responsible for all construction and major maintenance projects at Sears Tower including re-glazing 16,000 windows and the build-out of two million SF of new tenant office space along with several other notable projects.

Following the Sears Tower assignment, Taylor became responsible for The John Buck Company’s Capital Improvement and Tenant Improvement programs for all company-owned and managed properties. His most recent responsibilities included the oversight of the construction of the Nordstrom store on Michigan Avenue, the mall leading to Nordstrom, and the refurbishment and re-erection of the historic façade placed on the new hotel/retail Michigan Avenue mall Structure.
