John Lamb joined Zeller Realty Group® in 2000 as Vice President. Lamb has engaged in due diligence fact-finding and analytical work in support of purchase negotiations and in setting up initial operations for properties in Carmel, Indiana and downtown Chicago, Illinois. He recently served as Property Manager for Burnham Center, a ZRG investment property in Chicago. Currently, Lamb is the Property Manager for ZRG investment properties at 211 East Ontario and 430 West Erie located on the near north side of Chicago.
Prior to joining ZRG, Lamb managed office, engineering, and security staff of 21 people at 10 & 30 South Wacker Drive as General Manager for Equity Office Properties. His responsibilities included day-to-day operations and repositioning this new acquisition with capital improvements of approximately $2 million (lobby, elevator, security, HVAC). He also prepared and implemented TI programs in executing nearly 29 deals that enabled the property to remain approximately 96% leased and occupied during his tenure at this property.
Also under Equity Office Properties, Lamb managed 161 N. Clark Street and One North Franklin, repositioned both new acquisitions with capital improvement (of approximately $1 million and $260,000, respectively), and implemented a TI program (in executing approximately 34 deals and 42 deals, respectively) that brought both properties to at least 95% occupancy.
In addition, Lamb served as Vice President – Development with Miglin-Beitler, Inc. He specialized in Development Management of major office buildings in downtown and suburban Chicago. He successfully completed the construction of Triangle Plaza (O’Hare), 181 W. Madison, and Oakbrook Terrace Tower.
Lamb received his B.S. in Business Administration at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and he is also a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
