Mike Claassen engages in leasing activities throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. He joined Zeller Realty Group in November of 2008 as a research and leasing associate, and is active with the collection of market data regarding tenants, rates, and vacancies. Michael specializes in the Southwest office market, and the Central Business District of Minneapolis. Since joining Zeller, Michael has also worked to gather prospective tenants for ZRG’s high rise projects in the Twin Cities area: Wells Fargo Plaza, Wells Fargo Place, and LaSalle Plaza

Under the mentorship and tutelage of Zeller’s brokerage veterans, Mike has been able to learn from a few of the industry’s finest. Over time, he has expanded his role, to include third-party tenant and landlord representation. He currently represents office and retail tenants and landlords.

Prior to joining ZRG, Michael worked as a leasing associate at HJ Development, a retail investment and development company specializing in grocery-anchored retail centers. During his 2 years at HJ, Mike was able to add noteworthy value to the company’s properties by procuring a number of tenants within their shopping centers.

Michael graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts at the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and NAIOP, and is active in the NAIOP Developing Leaders program.
